Superchips Trail Jammer TJ Wrangler 2005-2006
The Flashpaq programmer optimizes Jeep engine settings to maximize performance with the throttle body and CAI installed. Power, fuel economy and towing tunes are included in Flashpaq. Automatic transmission shift optimization is also available and users can calibrate for tire sizes from 22.5" & 42" (if properly equipped). Superchips’ 62mm bore high-flow throttle body accommodates increased airflow and improves overall drivability. Fresh air enters through the Trail Jammer EXT’s cold-air intake, which flows 97% better than stock: 195 CFM compared to the OE 99 CFM. The system’s oil-impregnated, cotton-mesh filter traps dirt and debris and iswashable/reusable.
Superchips radically expands it Jeep performance tuning lineup with the release of the Trail Jammer EXT system including Flashpaq, throttle body, and cold-air intake kit. Superchips offers the new Trail Jammer system for Wrangler (TJ) and Cherokee (XJ) vehicles that have the fuel-injected 4.0L straight-six engine (late availability for XJ). This comprehensive air/fuel kit improves power by up to 18%.
Superchips’ dyno-testing on a 2006 Wrangler with a 5-speed manual transmission showed baseline rear-wheel outputof 140 HP/184 ft-lb of torque. With the Trail Jammer EXT system installed, the Jeep produced 165 HP/214 ft-lb. The Trail Jammer EXT system is designed for do-it-yourself installation; the job can be completed in an hour or less.
